I Herd It’s Your Birthday Card (Highland Cows! / Lawn Fawn)

by Kylie

Hi everyone! It has been such a long time since I last blogged! I have still been crafting, but blogging has fallen by the wayside due to a couple of bouts of ill health and having visitors come to stay. I’m looking forward to catching up and sharing the cards I’ve been making during this time.

One of my favourite stamp sets lately has been the super cute Highland Cows! stamp set from Lawn Fawn. These little cows are just darling and perfect for making fun birthday cards.

I decided to make several versions of the same design, changing up the colours and backgrounds to give each card its own look while keeping the basic layout the same. Making several cards at once is a great way to get more out of a stamp set you love, especially when you need a few birthday cards. Even small changes can give each card its own personality!

Some of these cards have an extra surprise! I used Action Wobblers behind the cow in the top left corner, allowing it to wobble when you give it a little nudge. I think this adds a fun interactive element and makes the cards even more entertaining for the recipient.

Here are the cards…

Watch it Wobble…

I’ve included a short video below so you can see the Action Wobbler in action. It’s much easier to appreciate the movement when you can see it for yourself!

I hope these cards have given you some ideas for using your own stamps to create multiple versions of a favourite design. Sometimes, a few small changes are all you need to create a collection of cards that work beautifully together while still having their own individual character.

Hope you have a wonderful day! Thanks so much for stopping by!
