Ho Ho Ho (Jolly St. Nick / Concord & 9th)

by Kylie

Hi everyone! If you are like me, at Christmas, you tend to mass-produce the same card, and that can sometimes be the last time you use those particular products. This year, I’m determined to use more of my Christmas products and give them the love they deserve.

Last year, I used the cute Jolly St. Nick dies, stencils and stamps from Concord & 9th to make my Christmas cards for family and friends. I was really happy with how the cards turned out. You can see them here.

When I showed Al, he said I should have used a blue background. So, when I needed to make another card, I took his suggestion and loved the result! You can see that card here.

I felt I really didn’t use all of the elements in the collection, so this year I have decided to try using a few more and make some different cards. There are still so many other elements in this collection to use too.

The two cards I’m sharing today are variations of the same design. The only difference is the background. For one, I used the Holly Jolly Background die from Waffle Flower to create a textured background, while for the other, I stamped snowflakes in Versamark over the background. I know the Versamark background is a little difficult to see in the photo, but it does look a bit more effective in real life.

Here are the cards…

Do you have a favourite? I think I prefer the one with the Holly Jolly Background die but if you needed to cut down the time and resources used then the one with the stamped background is the way to go.

Hope you have a wonderful day! Thanks so much for stopping by!
