Hi everyone, can you believe there are only six (6) days until Sale-A-Bration is over? So sad! I’ve loved getting my extra free goodies with my orders. Today, I am sharing a card that was inspired by a card featured in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue. It features the Berry Blessings stamp set, which is a Sale-A-Bration freebie, and the Sweet Strawberry stamp set which was released as part of the January to June 2021 Mini Catalogue release.
To create the card, all you need to do is stamp the different lined images all over a panel of Basic White cardstock. Use solid images to add colour. If you don’t love to colour, these stamps are for you. They are both two-step stamp sets. This means there is a line stamp and the coordinating solid stamp. It makes it quick and easy to whip up a fun background.
I decided to go with Pacific Point for the cardstock base, the twine (which is just white twine dyed blue), and the sentiment as I felt I needed to balance the blue. If I had three sets of blueberries or even partial sets of blueberries, they would have been balanced but as it stood, they looked a little off-kilter. The sentiment helped ground the piece.
I hope you will give this fun card a try. You could easily sit down and stamp up a whole pile of backgrounds and just add the sentiments when you need a specific card. Both the Berry Blessings and Sweet Strawberry stamp sets have lovely sentiments.
