Hi everyone, today’s card shares a little sneak peek at one of the super cute stamp sets coming in the new August to December 2020 Mini Catalogue. It was one of the stamp sets that jumped out at me and made it straight on to my wish-list. The stamp set is called Gnome for the Holidays. It features three super cute gnomes, the little treehouse and four great sentiments. It’s so darling! And yes, if you like to colour, and create little scenes you will LOVE this set!
You might have also noticed that awesome designer series paper I used for the background? It’s from the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper pack which is also from the August to December 2020 Mini Catalogue. This paper pack is so fantastic that I’ve just ordered my second pack.
Oh, I also used Shimmery Crystal Effects on this card to add a little shimmer to the Christmas lights and the ornament in the gnome’s hand. Unfortunately, I added it before I decided to die cut the panel and I squished it. It lost some of its shine but it could have been a lot worse – if it hadn’t been completely dry I could also have made a big mess of my card, That would have been terrible! I did add another coat which helped. My BIG tip is to add the Shimmery Crystal Effects as the very last touch.

My other tip is to add extra details using a coordinating Stampin’ Write Marker (I used a Black one for this card as it matched my stamping). These details can really help to finish off your design.
