Hi everyone, if you love to colour then today’s card is for you! I’m sharing a card using the new Butterfly Brilliance stamp set which was released at the start of the month. Actually, the whole collection is amazing! I love the versatility of this collection – you can create soft, pretty and feminine cards to cards with a more realistic feel. The latter is the look we are going for today.
This card is actually very simple – stamp the image onto a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock. Use your preferred colouring medium to add colour to each of the butterflies. For this card, I’ve used Stampin’ Blends. (You can see the colours I’ve used in the supplies list below.) I finished off the card mounting this panel to a Basic Black card base. The final touch was to add a sentiment from the Art Gallery stamp set.
I found the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set so fun to colour. I’ve actually got another card like this in progress. I love how gorgeous the butterflies are. How are you using this collection? Realistic type butterflies or something a little different?
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!

Love this so much!! Beautiful!!!
Thank you so much, Stephanie! I really appreciate it! 🙂
What did you use for the black flecks/dots all over?
Hi Shelly, I grabbed the Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Blend for that technique. Use the brush end and place the nib in the corner of the lid. Very gently pull against it and you’ll see the ink go flying. Hope this helps! 🙂
