The theme for our October 2021 Blog Hop is Nature’s Beauty.

I love this theme. There’s such a broad scope for interpretation – animals, landscapes, birds, flowers – even the Nature’s Beauty stamp set.

I thought about my recent trip along the southern coast of Western Australia where I saw a vast array of wildflowers. They were stunning and so many I had never seen before. I decided to use the flowers as my inspiration and create a card using the Daisy Garden stamp set.

It’s a bit hard to see in the photo but I’ve coloured the daisy with colours from my inspiration photo. I used Light Flirty Flamingo, Light Polished Pink, Light Petal Pink and Light Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends to colour the flowers and both Light and Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends to colour the stems and leaves.

The sentiment was from the Sweet As a Peach stamp set. Love this set! It’s new to me and I cannot wait to use it again.

Of course, I had to finish off the image with some Wink of Stella on the flowers. I love the sweet shimmer it gives the card.
