Hello and welcome to the Stampin’ Creative Global Blog Hop! Currently, you’re visiting the blog of Kylie at Stampers Workshop! It’s my first hop with these talented stampers and I’m so thrilled to be participating. Thanks so much for hopping with us this month. To see the rest of the blogs in the hop, there’s a list below.
The theme for our June 2021 Blog Hop is In-Color Inspiration. We were asked to create a card using any, or a combination of the In-Colours on our project. How fun!
Here’s the card…
I love all the new 2021-2023 InColours so this is where I chose to start when creating my card. I’ve also been wanting to use the fabulous floral die from the Artistic dies set so it seemed like a match made in heaven to combine the two. I die cut this image twice from Basic White Cardstock. My big tip here is to apply Adhesive Sheets to your Basic White cardstock before running it through your Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine. This makes it so much easier to adhere the fiddly die cut!
After I had my two die-cut pieces, I simply sponged them with the different ink colours before positioning them where I thought they’d look good on my card panel. I trimmed off the overhanging pieces and then layered this onto a sheet of Pale Papaya cardstock. This panel was then adhered to a Soft Succulent cardstock base (after I added some extra texture with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder). Yes, this is definitely my new go-to embossing folder since the Subtles Embossing Folder retired.
The final touches to the card was to add a sentiment from the coordinating Artistically Inked stamp set and some rhinestones. It’s quite a simple card and it really was easy to make. I think you’ll enjoy making it too.
Let’s continue on the hop…

This is AWESOME! I LOVE that die cut and I love your idea of sponging it after it’s cut out. Brilliant! Yes, the adhesive sheets are a MUST! Really pretty card using ALL the colours!
Thanks, Tamara! Those Adhesive Sheets are the best! Makes projects like this so much easier!!
What a gorgeous card! I love the way you colors the die cuts!
