Hi, welcome to the Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop day! Thanks so much for hopping with us this month. The theme for our February 2023 Blog Hop is a Tic Tac Toe Challenge. For this challenge, we needed to make a project based on the game board below. You need to choose three components in a line – either diagonally, vertically or horizontally.
Here’s the Challenge…
I wonder if you can choose the row I chose? I’ll reveal it at the end.
I started by creating a card base from Polished Pink cardstock. I cut another panel just slightly smaller and ran this through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with a new Embossing Folder which will be coming next month. I can tell already it is going to be one of my favourite tools to add texture to my backgrounds.
Next, I stamped the party goose from the Silly Goose stamp set on Basic White cardstock. After colouring it in with Stampin’ Blends, I added some Wink of Stella to the balloon and party hat before die-cutting it with the Scalloped Contours die set. I added some white Baker’s Twine to give it a little more interest.
The sentiment, also from the Silly Goose stamp set, was stamped in Versamark on Pool Party cardstock. After white heat-embossing it, I trimmed it to size.
Next, I assembled the card. The pink panel was adhered directly to the card base. The main focal image was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiment was adhered directly to this panel but I did add a small Stampin’ Dimensional to the right-hand side where it overhung by a little.
Finally, I added a few Iridescent Pearls to the card and it was done.
Did you work out my row? It was the Dies, Embossing Folder and Colouring. Although technically, I also did Heat-Embossing, Twine and Colouring.
Here’s the card…
Let’s continue on the hop…
