Hi, welcome to the Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop day! Thanks so much for hopping with us this month. The theme for our December 2022 Blog Hop is a Colour Challenge. For this challenge, we needed to make a project using Orchid Oasis, Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzazz. We are also allowed to use Basic White, Basic Black and/or Very Vanilla.
Here’s the Challenge…
I was so excited by this challenge. The colours are gorgeous and I thought they looked so pretty together. I wanted to use one of the new (coming in January 2023) products and the Simply Beautiful stamp set. Love this stamp set – you can use the line image and the solid images as I have done here or you can choose to colour the line image yourself.
To start my card, I created a card base from Orchid Oasis cardstock. I then stamped the main flower image in Orchid Oasis ink randomly over the card front. Inking up this same image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink, I again stamped the image but this time on Basic White cardstock. I added colour to this image by using the solid stamps. The leaves were stamped in Pear Pizzazz and the flowers in Calypso Coral. I added a little Wink of Stella to the flowers. The Scalloped Contours die was my choice to cut out the main image which I then popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For the sentiment, I chose the ‘Sending Happy Thoughts’ from the Simply Beautiful stamp set. I stamped it in Versamark on Orchid Oasis cardstock and then white heat-embossed it. After trimming it to size, I adhered it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The final touches were to add a bow of white Bakers Twine and some Iridescent Pearls.
Here’s the card…
