Hi, welcome to the Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop day! Thanks so much for hopping with us this month. The theme for our November 2021 Blog Hop is a Sketch Challenge. We were challenged to create a card inspired by the sketch below.
Here’s the Challenge…
Here’s the card…
I chose the Back On Your Feet stamp set for this challenge. It really is so darling even with the poor animals in various stages of distress. Poor things! I decided to work with the sloth as its orientation fitted the parameters of the sketch. I coloured it with Stampin’ Blends before die cutting the panel with a die from the Scalloped Contours die set. As I was pulling the papers together to complete the card I found myself reaching for subtle browns and greens. I decided to step out of my comfort zone. I went for something completely different – the Pattern Party Host Designer Series Paper Pack. To give the card even more pop I added some Polished Pink paper from the 2021-2023 In Colour Designer Series Paper pack.
Truthfully, because it is so different from the colour scheme I would usually choose to use I’m not sure I love it but what I DO love is the sketch! Such a good design and one you could return to again and again.
Let’s continue on the hop…
You might have come here from Elizabeth Yager’s blog. Next up, please hop along to Nikki Stalker’s blog. Here’s a list of all the participants:

So cute Kylie. I regret not buying this set when it first came out but think I’ve waited too long now.
Thanks, Nikki! I know what you mean. I think that too about some stamps but I can tell you its a fun set to colour! 🙂
Just gorgeous Kylie! I am feeling like that sloth today (minus the bandages)
Thanks so much, Melis! I can TOTALLY relate! Enjoy the (hopefully restful) day! 🙂
Such a gorgeous card Kylie. I love this paper and how different the patterns are on all the sheets. Love the sloth and how you’ve coloured him in.
Thanks very much, Sharon! It was out of my comfort zone so I’m glad you like it! 🙂
