Hi everyone and welcome to the Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop day! Thanks so much for hopping with us. The theme for today’s Blog Hop is Mini Catalogue Products. We could use any of the items from the recently released January to June 2020 Mini Catalogue.
Here’s our Challenge…
The only challenging thing about this particular challenge is picking which of the many wonderful items to use. The catalogue is filled to the brim with awesomeness. In the end, I decided to go with the Beautifully Braided stamp set. I repeatedly stamped the image over a piece of Shimmery White cardstock. I would have used Watercolour paper but I couldn’t find mine. I do find the Shimmery White cardstock is not too bad for basic watercolouring. I used the Watercolour Pencils to colour the image and then used my Basic Black Stampin’ Blends marker to fill in the background.
The design of the cards is one I actually do quite frequently but hadn’t done so in a while. I was recently inspired to return to it after seeing some cards by Yana Smakula. Yana isn’t a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator but she is an amazingly talented cardmaker.
Here’s my first card…
I decided I needed to replicate this card but this time I didn’t fill in the background.
Here’s my second card…
Do you have a preference? I think I am currently favouring the white background but really…I like the both.
Let’s continue on the hop…
You might have come here from Kristy Davy’s blog. Next up, please hop along to Sharon Wilson’s blog.

Gorgeous Kylie. Love them both
Thanks so much, Nikki!
I haven’t noticed this stamp set in the catalogue yet but I need to check it out. I love the white background. You’ve coloured the flowers to they look to be popped off the page. The Black one is striking too. Love them
