Hi everyone, before the January to June 2021 Mini Catalogue retires on the 30th June 2021, I just had to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) some of the fabulous card designs. Today’s card is from page 15 and features the Lots of Heart Bundle. I loved this card from the moment I saw it. What really attracted it to me was the use of the dies from the Many Hearts die set. How cool is that background?! It was a little fiddly trying to get the dies straight and then attaching the small pieces but I think it was totally worth it! So fun!
I cut my card base from Calypso Coral and scored it in half. I then positioned the die in place (with the help of a ruler) and held it in place with some post-it note tape. If you don’t have Stick-It Note tape, you totally need it, along with the Post-It Super Sticky Full Notes. I get mine at Officeworks. These are both great for holding dies in place before die-cutting. I also use them for masking.
Trim a panel of Petal Pink cardstock down and adhere this to the inside of your card so you can see it through the die cut area. Just think about where you are putting your adhesive as you don’t want it to come through the spaces. Once this was done I used the Multipurpose Liquid Glue to stick the hearts and crosses in place. I have found the easiest way to do this is to squeeze a bit of glue out on some scratch paper or a silicone craft mat spread it out and then, with the help of some tweezers, dunk my die cut piece in it.
I coloured the stamped flowers with Watercolour Pencils but I used the Just Jade Stampin’ Blends to make the ribbon match my project. The rest of the card went together quite easily as it was just a matter of sticking down all the different pieces.
Here’s the card…
Isn’t this a great card?! I’m so sad this bundle is being retired.
IMPORTANT: The Lots of Heart bundle is only available while stocks last and will be retired on 30th June 2021! Now, I usually encourage you to purchase the bundle wherever possible to take advantage of the awesome 10% discount. This is another case where I am actually going to encourage you to purchase the stamps and dies separately. The bundle price is currently $83.50 whereas the stamp set price is $15.00 and the die set price is $31.50. This means that the cost of both items purchased separately is only $46.50! That means you’re saving an additional $37.00 off the discounted bundle price! SO GOOD!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!
