Make a birthday card with NEW products (CASE the Catalogue)

Hi everyone, today I am sharing a card CASEd (Copy And Share Everything) from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue which will be live from 3 May 2022. I wanted to give you a sneak peek at some of the gorgeous new products. If you have seen the new catalogue then you have already seen today’s card as it is on the front cover. So beautiful! The card features the new, and absolutely gorgeous, Hues of Happiness suite. The suite is made up of the Happiness Abounds stamp set, the Blossoming Happiness dies (also available as a bundle), the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper and the Glossy Dots Assortment pack. Have I mentioned it is so beautiful? It really is!

To create the card, I made a card base from Thick Basic White cardstock and layered on a piece of patterned paper from the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper. From a different piece of this paper, I also die cut some of the flowers and leaves. Yes, the Blossoming Happiness dies DO cut out some of the images. Isn’t that great?!

I took another piece of Basic White cardstock and used another die from the Blossoming Happiness die set to create a panel with a notepad type edge. Love this! I trimmed this to size and then positioned my die cut pieces in place, Next, I stamped some leaves in Granny Apple Green before adhering the die cut pieces. You could pop them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals but I adhered them directly to the panel. I did add a coat of Wink of Stella to the flowers as I do like that extra bit of shimmer.

The sentiment was also from the Happiness Abounds stamp set and I stamped it in the new Sweet Sorbet ink. So pretty! The final touch was to add some of the Daffodil Delight dots from the Glossy Dots Assortment.

This is seriously one of my most favourite cards. I love everything about it. As I’ve said before, the Stampin’ Up!® designers are so very talented. I plan on making more of these cards, and more of some of the other cards featured in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. They are amazing!
