Hi everyone, one of the perks of being a Stampin’ Up!® demonstrator is that I am able to join a Facebook group that is only for Demonstrators. As part of this group, Demonstrators share everything from business ideas to card ideas. I love seeing all the amazing talent which is out there. It is SO inspiring!
A couple of days ago, Patty Bennett (one of the top Demonstrators in the USA) shared some cards and I loved them! I asked whether she wouldn’t mind if I CASEd (Copy And Share Everything) them and she graciously said yes!
To create these cards, I used the Art Gallery and Punch Party stamp sets, and the beautiful Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper.
The really cool thing about these cards is that I’ve used the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks with the Blending Brushes to add additional detail to the Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper. It looks so good!
Another tip for these cards is to use Stampin’ Blends to colour the Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets so they match the colour scheme. This is such a fun and easy way to make sure everything coordinates. I love doing this!
On a couple of the cards, I added some of the Gilded Leafing. My big tip for this is to make sure that your ink is dry before you add the Versamark. If you don’t, when you sprinkle the Heat & Stick Powder on the image, it will go everywhere and not just where you want it to go. Also, don’t overheat the powder. You want it to stay tacky so that you can press the gold leaf on it and it will stick. (You can see I botched a couple of my images but shhh! don’t tell anyone.) Also, with regards to the Gilded Leafing, make sure you don’t have a fan on as this stuff will go everywhere. I recommend actually doing it in a box so you can contain it more easily.
