Hi, sometimes I love to make really detailed cards but there are times when I don’t have a lot of time to create and I need a card for some reason. In these situations, I aim to make something quick and easy and if packs a punch, then all the better.
You’ve probably already peeked at the card I’m sharing today and you’re thinking, “Kylie, this looks like it takes a while to colour, I hardly think it is a quick and easy card”. Yes, it can take a bit of time to colour but here’s the secret. Some days you might only feel like colouring, other days you may feel like stamping only, and then there are other times when you feel like making a card from start to finish. On the days you feel like colouring, do that! Colour images you’ve stamped at another time, or you could colour patterned paper like the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper. That’s what I did here. I spent a lovely evening colouring lots of paper. I haven’t made it all into cards yet but I have it ready for when I want (or need) it. When I recently found the need to make a quick thank you, I took a sheet of this pre-coloured paper and made it into a very simple card. (Of course, you could always use pre-printed Designer Series Paper as this will make the process even faster)!
Here’s the card…
