Hi, sometimes I have an idea but I cannot decide which colour combination might look the best. What’s the solution? I make multiple cards with different colour combinations! That is how I ended it up with the trio of cards I am sharing today.
All three cards are essentially the same however I have varied a few little details such as the colour combination, the placement of the sentiment and finally the sentiment itself.
To create the cards I started with a panel of Whisper White cardstock. I stamped the floral image from the Amazing You stamp set (this is a stamp set which you could earn for free during Sale-A-Bration) repeatedly over the panel before embossing with white embossing powder. I used my sponge daubers to add a pop of darker colour to the centre of the flower and then a stamping sponge to add the lighter ink colour to the rest of the panel.
I cut a strip of vellum to use as a platform to make the sentiment pop. I was able to tuck the vellum strip behind the panel and adhere it there so it was much easier to hide the adhesive. I embossed part of the sentiment for two cards. I used the lovely Celebrate You thinlits to complete the sentiments. These dies are amazing! (You could also earn this for free during Sale-A-Bration).
Here’s the first card…
Here’s the second card…
Here’s the third card…
Do you have a favourite of the trio? I think it is the pink…or the orange…oh wait, I really do like the blue one. Hmm…tough choice. Let’s just leave it with, I like them all!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!

Just gorgeous!! What a great set… I love the orange and the blue!!!
Thanks so much, Bron! 🙂 Appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment too! 🙂
How beautiful! Amazing job on all of them, but of the three, my fav is the orange.
Thank you so very much, Leslie! 🙂 I’m quite partial to the orange one too. 🙂
Kylie … I like this technique and this stamp set really shows it off nicely. I am a Pink Girl at heart, but do love the other choices as well. I think I’m going to try Bermuda Bay. Don’t think you could go wrong with any color. Thank you for the layout.
It is so easy, Carol! You’ll love it! I think the Bermuda Bay will look gorgeous. I’d love to see the card when you finish it. 🙂 Thank you for the lovely comments. I really appreciate them. 🙂
