Hi everyone, the Free As A Bird stamp set remains one of my favourites at the moment. I really love colouring the images and playing around with different colour combinations. I was flicking through the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue and saw a card example (page 190) which looked so good I had to CASE it (Copy And Share Everything). The designer had stamped directly on to the front of the card base and then cut around the top of the image. In the example, the designer had used an embossing folder to create the background. In the two examples I am sharing today, I’ve used patterned paper.

The second card I am sharing today is actually the card I made for my Mum for her birthday. She loves blue so I used Balmy Blue patterned paper for the background. I added a die-cut square of cardstock to the inside of the card so I could write my message.

I really love this style of card. I haven’t made anything like this in a long time but hopefully, it won’t be too long before I try it again. It looks so good! I hope you’ll give it a try too.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!
