Hi everyone, today I am sharing a card CASEd from the January to June 2022 Mini Catalogue. Sadly, this catalogue retires at the end of the month. There’s still time to get the times you like and many of them are now on sale.
To create today’s card, I added some Flirty Flamingo patterned paper to a card base. The paper was from the Brights 6×6 Designer Series Paper pack.
Next, I die cut six clouds out of Basic White cardstock, as well as a rectangle using the Stitched Rectangle dies. For the rainbows, I chose Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight and Flirty Flamingo cardstock. I added Adhesive Sheets to the back before die cutting them with the Brilliant Rainbows dies. These pieces were then layered on the stitched rectangle piece.
To add more interest to the clouds, I decided to use the dots stamp from the Rainbow of Happiness stamp set. I inked it up with Coastal Cabana ink, stamped it off on scrap paper and then stamped it again onto the cloud. It gave it a softer impression doing it this way. The clouds were then added to the piece with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The border piece was die cut from Gold Sheets and adhered directly to the main panel.
The final touch was to stamp the sentiment, also from the Rainbow of Happiness stamp set, in Versamark on Daffodil Delight cardstock. Once the sentiment was white heat-embossed, I die-cut it using another of the Stitched Rectangle dies. This was then adhered to the rectangular panel, which in turn was popped up on the card front.
Here’s the card…
This was such a fun card to CASE. I love all the inspiration shared in the catalogues. It’s one of the places I turn to first when my mojo takes a vacation. What colours would you use to create this card?
