Hi everyone, you’ve probably noticed that I am definitely crushing on the Wildly Happy stamp set. It is so cute. Today’s card is based on one which I share the other day but I’ve stepped it up a little. Plus I decided to return to a technique of adding extra details to the background. I had tried to add some trees to the background but didn’t really like how I did it so I was a little apprehensive about trying again. In the end, I decided just to run with it – and to share the result. I like to consider my blog as a place to share my hits and my misses because ultimately, this is how we all learn and grow with our skills.
I also used the technique I shared in my last post where I dyed the White Bakers Twine to match the card. This time, I dyed the twine with Early Espresso. It’s one of my favourite things to do at the moment.
Here’s the Card…
Don’t be afraid to experiment with adding extra features to your card design. I’m no artist but I think this doesn’t look TOO bad. With a little practice, I can only improve. I hope you’ll give this idea a go, and don’t be too hard on yourself if it is not exactly how you want it to be right at the start. It takes time.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!
