Watercolor Wings Colour Combinations

Watercolour Wings Colour Combinations

Hi, now that my Christmas cards are done, I’m ready to get back into creating with some older stamp sets, and some of the new ones too.  The Watercolor Wings stamp set is gorgeous and if you love butterflies, you will love creating with these stamps.  The stamp set is a three-step stamp set.  This means there are three stamps you can use to create a very detailed butterfly.  Of course, you don’t have to use all of the layers (and I often don’t).  I wanted to share some of the colour combinations I quite like.  This is really just the tip of the iceberg; there are so many different colour combinations you could come up with.

With the examples below,  I found myself favouring Early Espresso for the body of the butterfly or wherever I wanted a darker look.  In a few examples, I didn’t use all three stamps to create my butterfly and I think they still look fabulous.

I *love* the Lemon Lime Twist combinations – this colour would have to be one of my favourites!  Then again, I really do like all of them!  Do you have a favourite?
