Hi everyone, one of the things I love most about being a part of the Stampin’ Up!® community is the actual community of fellow Demonstrators. We have a group on Facebook where Demonstrators share hints, tips as well as some of their creations. It is SO inspiring! Demonstrator Maheswari Rajaguru shared a card in the group this week and I immediately commented and asked if I could CASE (Copy And Share Everything) it as I knew you’d all love it too! She graciously said I could and so here it is (with only a couple of changes from the original).
Take a sheet of Gray Granite cardstock and create a card base. Take another panel of Gray Granite cardstock (cut to 10cm x 14.4cm) and emboss with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere this panel to the card base. Next, cut a sheet of Basic White cardstock to 12.9cm x 9cm. Choose four patterns from the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper and cut each one to 3 cm x 8.7cm. Adhere these pieces to your Basic White cardstock panel and attach this to your cardstock base. Trim another piece of the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper to approximately 5.5cm x 1.8cm and save this piece for later.
Stamp, in Basic Gray ink, the floral image from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set and die cut the image. I added a light wash of Wink of Stella to this image to give it a little more sparkle. Tie a bow around the image with the Silver Simply Elegant Trim and adhere this to your card panel.
Stamp the sentiment in Black on another piece of Basic White cardstock. I used the Tailored Tag punch to create the banner. Adhere the 5.5cm x 1.8cm patterned paper to the card with the sentiment strip popped on top of it. The final touch is to add some bling. I used the clear dots from the Silver & Clear Epoxy Essentials.
