Hi everyone, today I am sharing a card based on a sample in the current 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue. In the catalogue, the design was actually on the side of a tin and it was so cute I had to adapt it to a regular card. It’s super easy to make and I think it looks pretty cute. I hope you’ll give it a try.
To create the card, all you need is a sheet of patterned paper from the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper and cut it to fit the size of your card base. I allowed for a little border but you could increase or decrease this gap as per your own preference. Next up, I stamped the super cute bird from the Free as a Bird stamp set, along with some leaves. Don’t worry too much about how it will look near the bird’s feet as you will place the sentiment over this area. The sentiment is also from the Free as a Bird stamp set. To add a little more interest to the sentiment, I used the cute flower embellishment from the Bird Ballad Trinkets pack.
Here’s the Card…
It’s super cute, isn’t it? I love the samples in the catalogue. The designers are so talented and inspiring!
The Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper is one of the patterned paper packs included in the current Buy 3, Get 1 Free sale. This sale ends on 30 September.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!
