Hi everyone, for the recent Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop, we had a challenge to use Rococo Rose, Seaside Spray and Purple Posy only (with Whisper White, Very Vanilla, and Basic Black). At first, I found it really difficult to come up with an idea but then I was struck by the idea to create a really pretty watercolour background. After I finished my card which you can see here, I thought it might be fun to see how the card would look with Basic Black rather than Whisper White.
Here’s the card…
It is so pretty, isn’t it?! I think it would look so good with brighter colours too. My big tip for this card is that I used my Stamparatus as I really wanted a crisp black look. The texture of the Watercolour paper is a little rough so I need to repeat stamp the image a few times and the Stamparatus ensured I was stamping in the same place every time. I then cleaned my stamp and added a layer of Versamark so I could add clear embossing powder to get a pretty black embossed look.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!
