Hi everyone! Sorry I’ve been missing for a few days. It’s been hard to find the time to get into the craft room. I was recently gifted, for my birthday, the Winds of Change stamp set and I couldn’t wait to use it. I needed to make a Thank You card for the sweet person who gave me the stamp set and since it had a Thank You sentiment in it, it seemed like the logical choice.
The card is a very simple design as I really wanted the gorgeous windmill scene to take centre stage. I stamped the image and then coloured it with my Stampin’ Blends.
Here’s the Card…
It’s hard to see in the photograph but I finished off the card by adding some Wink of Stella to the tulips to give them a very pretty shimmery effect. They look so gorgeous in real life.
The Winds of Change stamp set is beautiful and had some lovely sentiments. I’m so thankful to my friend for giving it to me. I know it is going to get a lot of use….after all, I’m going to have to colour those tulips in lots of different colour combinations.
