Hi everyone, when sharing my card featuring the Perfectly Pencilled Designer Series Paper and the Charming Sentiments stamp set a couple of days ago I mentioned that I thought it would look good in different colours. I was FaceTiming my Dad and showed him the card too. He mentioned he thought a purple colour would look good so today I thought I would replicate the card using purple as the main colour.
I coloured the Perfectly Pencilled Designer Series Paper with Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Fresh Freesia and Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends. I then fussy cut out this design.
The card base is Fresh Freesia cardstock which was die cut with the Stitched Greenery die and then with a Blending Brush, I added a few very light swathes of Highland Heather ink. I also added some Highland Heather ink to a panel of Basic White cardstock which I die cut with the Stitched Rectangle dies.
I added the Stitched Rectangle panel to the card base. Next, I added the floral piece to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added some Wink of Stella to the flowers to give them a little shimmer.
For the sentiment, I stamped the ‘Thank You’ from the Charming Sentiments stamp set on some Basic Grey cardstock. I white heat embossed it before die-cutting it with the Sentiment Silhouettes dies. This was then glued to the card with liquid glue.
Here’s the card…
I can’t tell you how much I love making cards like this! The Perfectly Pencilled Designer Series Paper is so fun to colour.
