Hi everyone, if you’ve followed my blog for any length of time you know I love colouring images, especially with Stampin’ Blends. The Stampin’ Blends make it easy to effortlessly colour pretty images such as the floral images in the Bloom & Grow stamp set. The main floral image I chose looked a little lost on the design I had planned so I coloured and die cut lots of the filler blossoms and leaves. This enabled me to create a really full looking bouquet. Don’t overlook these little filler stamps as they can really go a long way to finishing off your design. The coordinating Budding Blooms dies makes it a really quick process to quickly cut out the filler images. Don’t forget that both the stamps and dies are available as a bundle.
Here’s the Card…
It really is such a pretty stamp set! I always have such fun colouring these images. Oh, and to create the multicolour sentiment, I used the Stamparatus. It is such a great tool! I simply inked up the sentiment in Poppy Parade ink and stamped my cardstock. I then cleaned the stamp and used the Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker to colour in just “from the bottom of my heart”. I stamped the image again. It wasn’t quite as dark as I wanted it to be so I merely repeated the process until I achieved the look I was after. So easy!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!
