Hi everyone, last weekend I caught up with my friend, and team leader, Melissa. We spent a few hours crafting…okay, mostly chatting…in her new studio (which is SO fabulous!). I had brought with me quite a few supplies including a lot of half-finished projects. As I was showing Melissa some of the items she encouraged me to actually finish at least one of the cards. So, I did, and I am sharing it today! I really don’t know why I sat on it for so long! I want to encourage you to finish some of your unfinished projects too!
My card is actually quite simple, and pretty. It features the beautiful Art Gallery Bundle and paper from the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper pack.
Normally when I create a card like this which has a little sentiment strip, I’d emboss with white embossing powder on Basic Black cardstock. For this card, I decided the Basic Black cardstock might be a little too dark and so I chose to use Basic Gray instead. This is such a great substitute!
