Hi everyone! Today I am participating in the July StampingPals Challenge. This month the challenge is to create a card using your favourite bundle.
Here’s our Challenge…
Sounds easy, doesn’t it? After all, Stampin’ Up! has so many fantastic bundles on offer. I didn’t know which bundle to choose as I have a number of favourites. In the end, I went with the one on my desk which I have been colouring a lot! The Prized Peony bundle is fantastic! It offers so much. The dies cut out the different stamp images, plus there are dies to create a paper pieced peony (which is soooo beautiful) and there is also a really lovely border die. Sometimes I overlook the border dies so I decided I would feature it on today’s card. I love those pretty scallops and it is a little hard to see but it also embossed a pretty scallop design at the same time.
My tip of the day is to die cut the border strip before running it through the embossing folder. Doing it the other way can flatten out the gorgeous embossed texture.
Here’s my card…
I hope you will play along with us. All the details are on the StampingPals blog.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!
