Hi, I have a really quick and simple card to share with you today. It possibly looks a little more complicated than it actually is! You could easily whip up a number of these cards very quickly (and substitute any colour combinations you would like). I’m using the gorgeous Amazing You stamp set which you could earn for FREE with a qualifying order during Sale-A-Bration.
To start with, take your Polka Dot Basics embossing folder and soft sky cardstock (which has been cut and folded to make a card base) and run it through the Big Shot. I love how it adds just a bit of texture but doesn’t detract from the simplicity of the greeting.
Next, I created my sentiment by picking out the words I wanted and stamping them in different colours. Now, you’ll notice it isn’t perfectly straight. I’m okay with this. It’s a handmade card and I’ve learnt to embrace the imperfections. However, if you’d prefer to have everything lined up perfectly, you could use the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig (or the Stamparatus, when it comes!). I used the wonderful Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies to cut out the sentiment (and if you don’t have this die set, you need it!). The sentiment was mounted onto a panel of Tangerine Tango cardstock and then adhered to the card base.
I stamped the flower in Soft Suede ink and then used my sponge daubers to add my chosen colours. I cut out the flower, added it to my card. A coat of clear Wink of Stella over the flower finished off the card.

I really like how clean and simple the design is and I think you could easily replicate it in different colours, or with different stamp sets. It’s a very versatile design!
