Hi everyone, today I am sharing a sneak peek at a couple of products which are coming next month. I think you are going to love them. The new Butterfly Brilliance is one stamp but features six (6) different butterflies. There is a coordinating die set called Brilliant Wings and it features twelve (12) dies. One die cuts out all of the butterflies and it also cuts out images from the, you guessed it, coordinating Designer Series Paper. The Butterfly Bijou 6×6 Designer Series Paper is so pretty.
I needed to make a ‘thank you’ card for a sweet, fellow Demonstrator who helped me with a technical issue with my blog. As soon as I received this product medley, I thought it would be perfect! Plus, you know I couldn’t wait to start using it!
To create the background, I first added Adhesive Sheets to Basic White Cardstock. I added the die and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I highly recommend adding the Adhesive Sheets to the cardstock before die cutting the image. This way you can be sure your butterflies will completely stick to your background. Next up, I die cut some butterflies from the Butterfly Bijou patterned paper and popped them up in the centre of my card. The final touch was a simple stamped and embossed sentiment from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set.
Oh I am really crushing on this card! I so hope the recipient loves it too.
The stamp set, die set and coordinating papers will be available next month (or you can pick them as part of your Starter Kit if you join this month).
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!

This is beautiful with the white butterfly background. I like that the adhesive sheets makes the work easier to get those butterflies put down. Worth the effort
Thanks so much, Mary Alice! The Adhesive Sheets are THE best!! 🙂
I’ve not used the adhesive sheets before. Did you actually use the die to cut out the individual white butterflies for the background? It looks like it’s embossed! I love this and can’t wait to order the set. Thank you.

Hi Carole, thanks for your comment. The adhesive sheets are fabulous! You’ll love using them. Yes, I die cut all of the individual butterflies and then adhered them to the background. Such a fun technique. I’ve got a technique video showing the process. You can see it here: https://youtu.be/qMiFv4VZhOw Hope this helps! 🙂
