Hi, I haven’t been able to put the Watercolor Wings stamp set down. I wanted to play around with different colour combinations, however, I ended up playing some more with the technique I shared a couple of days ago. This time, however, I decided to use a lighter background (Crumb Cake) to see how the colours might pop.
Whilst the technique is the same, and the card designs are very similar to those shared a couple of days ago the impact is quite different. I think you’ll love how bright and vibrant the cards are – perfect for the person who LOVES colour!
Here’s the card…
For the above card, I stamped the base stamp in white ink and used the same stamp to stamp the colour. Please note, you don’t have to be perfect with your stamping. I think the off-set look actually looks really good.
For the next card, I decided to use the second layering stamp to add the colour. Doesn’t it pop! You *could* add the third layering stamp from the stamp set but I thought it might look way too busy. Feel free to experiment.
Here’s the card…
Isn’t it amazing how switching up the base colour cardstock can create such a different look despite using all of the same stamps and inks? I LOVE it!
Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!
Happy Stamping!
