Hi everyone! Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mum’s out there. I know this is a difficult day for some of my readers for many different reasons, and not just because of the isolation due to the current pandemic, and to you, I send my very best wishes.
Today’s card is the one I have made for my Mum. I have been feeling very uninspired creatively lately. When this happens I have a few things I do to try and kickstart the mojo including picking up the Stampin’ Up! catalogue and looking at all the gorgeous samples. I decided to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) the pretty Christmas card on page 16 of the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue. I thought this would transition perfectly into a Mother’s Day card. I used the Bloom & Grow stamp set for the beautiful floral images and teamed it with the Word Wishes dies and the A Wish for Everything stamp set (available as a bundle for a 10% discount). You might also notice the extra texture in the background. This is from the gorgeous Springtimes Impressions dies. It’s a fantastic die set.
Here’s the Card…
I think the card is super pretty and I just know I am going to make more cards in this style. If you give it a go too, please share with me. I’d love to see your creations!
I hope you all have a wonderful day and that you spend some time, even if only via video chat, with your loved one’s today.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!
