Hi everyone, a couple of days ago I shared two cards CASEd (Copy And Share Everything) from the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. The cards featured the Best Year Bundle which is a great stamp and die set bundle (but you can also purchase the stamps and dies separately).
I decided I wanted to create a couple more cards using this design but decided to make Birthday cards instead. I also decided to use flowers from some of the other designs in the Flowers for Every Season 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper Pack. Once I picked out the flower design I chose my cardstock and ink to match them.
Don’t forget – Adhesive Sheets are the BEST thing when die-cutting the Best Plaid Builder Dies. It makes it so easy to get those skinny end bits to stick down perfectly.
Here’s the first card…
For the first card, I used the really lovely new InColour ink and cardstock called Bumblebee. It’s a lovely yellow.
Here’s the second card…
The colour for the second card is also a new InColour called Misty Moonlight. It’s a really great blue (it is lighter than it appears in this photo – more of a kind of denim blue). I matched the cardstock, ink and used the Stampin’ Blends to colour my ribbon too.
Here’s the third card…
For the third card, I used the pretty Poppy Parade and once again matched the ink, cardstock and Stampin’ Blends to colour the ribbon to match.
This was a really fun trio of cards to create. I really enjoyed it. I hope you’ll give it a go too.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!

I love your beautiful cards in the different colors with the lattice die cut. I’ve been on the fence about whether to get it, but now I think I should put it on my “Want” list. Enjoy your day!
It’s definitely a fun die. 🙂 Thanks, Hilda! 🙂
