Hi everyone, today I am sharing a really pretty card featuring the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder. The Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder is fabulous. It can be used in so many different ways. I’ve already shared one idea here.
To create today’s card, start with a panel of Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper and spray with water. Smoosh some Balmy Blue, Coastal Cabana and Crumb Cake inks onto a non-porous surface and spray with water. Then ‘pounce’ the Watercolour paper into the different colours. Stop when you are happy with the look. Let it dry, or heat with your Heat Tool.
Position the watercolour panel in your Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder and run it through your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. It will look so pretty! With the White Pigment Ink, gently tap this over the raised parts of the embossed panel. If you aren’t getting the look you want, apply the white ink with a Sponge Dauber. White Pigment ink does take a while to dry so either put it aside or heat with your Heat Tool.
Create your card base. I used Pool Party and added one side to the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. Run this through your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
Next up, is the assembly. Add your decorative panel to a Basic White Cardstock mat so you can see a small white border. Pop up the panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhere to your card base.
Stamp the sentiment (and white heat emboss), from the Penguin Place stamp set (coming soon), on a small piece of Pool Party cardstock and then cut this out with a die from the Ornate Frames die set. Add the sentiment to your card. The final touch is to add some Rhinestones.
Here’s the card…
This is such a fun and easy card to make. The technique is so simple too. I know you’ll have fun playing around with different colour combinations. If you need any products to create this card, you can find them in my online store here.
