Happy World Cardmaking Day!
Hi everyone, are you enjoying World Cardmaking Day? I hope so! I’m sharing another card to celebrate today. This one is actually pretty simple, despite what the long list of supplies might indicate. All you need are some scraps of cardstock to die cut some leaves from the Stitched Leaves die set. To add a little more interest, I then sponged ink around the edges of the die-cut shapes. You can skip this step if you like.
I also used the stitched border die from the Stitched Leaves die set to create a panel across the card. It’s hard to see in the photograph but it adds a nice bit of texture. The Love of Leaves stamp set has some lovely sentiments. As I need to make some birthday cards, I used a stamp from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set. This is a great set to have in your stash as you can use it with any stamp set, especially those which do not have any sentiments with them.
I added a bit more interest to the card by adding some wooden leaves from the In Good Taste Embellishments pack, and some sequins from the Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Sequins pack.
Here’s the card…
I love the richness of the colours on this card! You could also die cut up a heap of leaves and easily make quite a few of these cards in a sitting!
Don’t forget all orders over $50 during the month of October 2020 go into a draw to win The Gang’s All Meer stamp set.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!
