Hi everyone, today I have a pretty card to share which is adapted from a 3D project which appears in the Annual Catalogue. It features the Hues of Happiness collection.
I started by creating a card base from Thick Basic White cardstock. Next, I cut a panel of Basic White cardstock and trimmed it so that it fitted on the card base with a small border around it. I lightly sponged some Daffodil Delight ink on two opposite corners to add a little more interest.
Next, I die cut lots of flowers and leaves from the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper. Whilst I don’t mind fussy cutting in general, using the dies from the Happiness Abounds die set to cut out the designs sure makes it a lot quicker. Once everything was die cut, I adhered the images to the focal panel. I added some Wink of Stella to the flowers and added some Glossy Dots to a few of the flowers.
The sentiment, from the Happiness Abounds stamp set, was stamped in Versamark on some Vellum. It was then gold heat-embossed and trimmed to size. In order to adhere it to the front of the card, I used a little of the Tombow Liquid glue to stick it in place.
The completed panel was then adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Here’s the card…
This was a fun project to make. I love how you can easily adapt a 3D project and make a pretty card. I love the gorgeous Hues of Happiness Collection too! So many great products!
