Hi everyone, while I am at OnStage, I thought I would share another card which was inspired by the card I made to swap at the event. I thought I could modify the design a little and turn it into a birthday card for my nephew. I decided to make it a little more masculine by using more earthy tones. Isn’t it great how you can create a completely different feel to a card by just changing a couple of details?
TIP: To create the background, I ran the giraffe print die through the Big Shot and created my own stencil. Doesn’t it look really effective?!
Here’s the card…
I totally love the background design. So fun to do!
Don’t forget you can get both the cute stamp set Animal Outing and the coordinating dies Animal Friends individually or as a bundle for a 10% discount.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!

Perfect card for your nephew, and girl, that background you’ve created blows me away! That’s an awesome rhino, and I love the little bird sitting on his horn. You’re so darn creative! We’ll chat maybe next weekend? Let me know… Missing you darlin’. xoxo
Thank you so much, Bev! Was such a fun card to make – even that background. I can see myself doing that sort of thing more and more. Would love to catch up. I’m in WA next weekend but will be home on Monday. Will organise something then. Miss you too! xx
