Hi everyone, it’s my 5-year Stampin’ Up!® Anniversary today. Wow! 5 years! Where has that time gone?! It has definitely been a fun ride! I’ve made new friends and had some great experiences because of Stampin’ Up!®.
My Stampin’ Up!® Story…
I have stamped, and scrapbooked, for YEARS. It was one of those hobbies which felt right for me and which I loved from the first time I picked up a stamp. After many years of using random products I decided I wanted to make things a little easier and work with a company where everything matched.
I knew that a couple of companies like Stampin’ Up!® had beautifully coordinating products. I put a request out on Facebook to find out the pros and cons of joining either Stampin’ Up!® or another company, and two of my friends raved about Stampin’ Up!®. These friends are stampers I’ve known and respected for many years – Melissa (my team leader) and Jill. We were all part of a stamping group for many years and I totally value their opinions. (Melissa and Jill were also part of the StampingPals Challenge blog which we ran for a while).
Based on their recommendations, I decided to give Stampin’ Up!® a go. I signed up under Melissa, picked out all my goodies and I couldn’t wait to get started! For many years I stamped as a Hobby Demo and just enjoyed the discount which came along with it. I love being able to see the new catalogues and products as soon as they are available. I often still feel like a Hobby Demo. I buy all the things I want to use rather than being a bit more disciplined like many of the other more business minded demonstrators would. I love the products and how well it all coordinates. I love pouring over every page of the catalogues – so much inspiration! I love being part of the Stampin’ Up!® community – in my experience, everyone is SO supportive and encouraging! I’ve made new friends who are happy to discuss stamping all the time! I love the Demonstrator Group on Facebook where people share ideas. I’ve even had a fellow Demonstrator (thanks, Catherine!) come to my rescue when I’ve had issues with my blog! So lucky!
Because of Stampin’ Up!®, I’ve attended some OnStage and OnStage@Home events where I’ve been able to meet new people, swap cards, and see an incredible performance by Pat Benatar (she was AMAZING!) and the Ndlovu Youth Choir. I participate in blog hops and team challenges where I am challenged to think outside my regular way of creating.
So, on my 5 year anniversary, I’d like to thank all of you who have come on this journey with me, whether you have been here from the beginning or have only just recently found me. Each of your likes, comments, shares, messages, cards, participation in challenges, and support of my business through purchasing through my online store, has contributed to making this a great experience! Thank you!! You will never know how much it means to me! I hope, in some small way, in return, I have been able to inspire, challenge, educate and encourage you over these past five years.
