Hi everyone, Happy St Patrick’s Day! I hope you are all enjoying a lovely day. Today’s card is a simple Good Luck card made using the Amazing Life stamp set and the Rectangle Stitched Framelits dies (currently available as a bundle).
I was looking at creating a mostly monochromatic card and then having the sentiment pop off. The card didn’t quite come together as I had planned but I thought it was still worth sharing. I repeatedly stamped the “Good Luck” stamp over the card base. You could use your Stamparatus for this process however I was happy to achieve a more random look. I also stamped the Shamrock stamp over another panel which I then die cut out with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits dies (which may just be one of my new favourite die sets). I added some Gold Metallic Thread to break up the green a little. Finally, I stamped and embossed the Good Luck stamp and the Shamrock stamp on some Whisper White cardstock. I coloured in the Shamrock. Next up, I die cut out this sentiment piece and assembled the card.
Here’s the Card…
I thought I would end today’s post with my favourite Irish Blessing since it is St Patrick’s Day!
Irish Blessing
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.May God be with you and bless you:
May you see your children’s children.
May you be poor in misfortune,
rich in blessings.
May you know nothing but happiness
From this day forward.May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the warm rays of sun fall upon your home,
And may the land of a friend always be near.May green be the grass you walk on,
May blue be the skies above you,
May pure be the joys that surround you,
May true be the hearts that love you.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!
