Hi everyone, have you all had a chance to look at the new Occasions catalogue? As well as showcasing the gorgeous new products, the catalogue features some AMAZING samples. I’ve linked the full Occasions catalogue so you can flip through it. You are going to love all of the examples. One card I loved is on page 38 of the catalogue and that is the inspiration for this card I am sharing today.
I’ve used the Needle & Thread stamp set as well as the coordinating Needlepoint Nook 12×12 Designer Series Paper. This stamp set is one of the new Distinktive Stamp sets. I find that I need to test out the stamp before committing it to my project. Sometimes I feel like I have too much ink on the stamp so I like to experiment first. If you cannot seem to get the right amount of ink, try using a sponge dauber to apply the ink. This is actually my preferred method.

I loved using the die to create a subtle background. It just adds that bit of interest.
