Hi, you’ve seen me create a number of cards using new Amazing You stamp set (and I still have more to share) but I was inspired to try something a little different. In the catalogue was a card which fascinated me. It was so different from my usual style and I really wanted to give it a try.
As I’ve said before, there is nothing wrong with being inspired by another stamper you see online, or the Stampin’ Up! catalogue, just, please, remember to give credit to the other designer.
So today, I am doing a little CASE the catalogue segment. What does CASE mean? It means Copy And Share Everything.
Here’s my card…
In case you were wondering what the card which inspired the above is like I’ve shared it below. You can see the cards are very similar however I’ve added the stamped panel to a coloured card base. I’ve used a different ribbon and added some bling (which I coloured with Stampin’ Blends so it matched perfectly). I’ve also used a different colour and shape (scallop) to layer the sentiment.
Here’s their card…
Isn’t it super pretty?! If you CASE this design, please share it with me. I love seeing how the same design can be interpreted in different ways – even when using almost the same supplies.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!
