Hi, today I am sharing two ‘similar but different’ cards using the Bella & Friends stamp set. It is such a darling set – Bella and her friends are simply too cute. I have been really wanting to use the image of Bella flying by tied to her balloon since I first picked up the set.
The first step to create the card was to stamp Bella and her friend as well as the sentiment. I then masked the image using a post-it note. To create the clouds I used the same technique I used for the recent Hedgehugs card. Next up was to colour the critters using my Stampin’ Blends. I love how it looks. So soft and pretty. I then mounted the panel on some Pink Pirouette cardstock. I decided to pop up this panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals. To finish off the card I added some Wink of Stella to the balloon and a silver enamel heart near the sentiment (partly to distract you from the fact the sentiment is a little crooked).

I really loved the softness of this card but wanted something a little brighter so I started again. I went through the exact same process except I used different colours and this time I decided to make the sentiment stand out a little more.
