Hi everyone! I had to play with Altenew’s Build-A-Garden: Happy Blossoms set again. I love this set and love how easy it is to make a pretty card.
How this Card Came Together
For this card, I returned to a favourite design of mine. I used it the first time I created with this set (see here) and decided to use it again for this card. This time I used Pool Party cardstock from Stampin’ Up!® for my card base, and embossed it with the now-retired Stitched Greenery die (also from Stampin’ Up!®). I don’t see myself ever getting rid of this die, I love it so much!
The rest of the card was made the same way as the previous card. I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black and then coloured it using the coordinating stencils. I used the same colours as on the previous card, then coloured all the remaining white areas with Pool Party Stampin’ Blends after I had die cut it using the coordinating dies. I cut a postage die cut using the Postage Stackables Die Cuts from Lawn Fawn. Everything was then layered together, a sentiment was added, and I finished off the card using some, you guessed it, Wink of Stella. Very pretty!
Here’s the card…
I think this is my favourite of the cards I have made so far. The colours are beautiful, and I love the use of the postage die cut. Do you have designs you return to again and again?
Hope you have a wonderful day! Thanks so much for stopping by!
