Hi everyone and welcome to Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop day! Thanks so much for hopping with us this month. The theme for July’s Blog Hop is a Sketch Challenge.
Here is the sketch…
Here’s my card…
My card features papers from the gorgeous Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper pack. Of course, I had to make things a little more complicated for myself as I decided to fussy cut out the floral images and adhere them to Whisper White cardstock. I thought the red background of this particular paper was just a little too much for my design.
I also used the fantastic new Foam Adhesive Sheets to pop up my die cut sentiment (from the Well Written Die Set). All you need to do is apply the sheets to your paper, add the die-cut and run it through your die-cutting machine. Makes it SO easy to get that extra bit of dimension for your sentiments.
My other big tip of the day is when using Vellum in the Dainty Diamond Embossing Folder also add a sheet of cardstock. Otherwise, the vellum gets stuck in the folder and will tear when you try to remove it.
Let’s continue on the hop…
You might have come here from Marelle Taylor’s blog. Next up, please hop along to Elizabeth Yager’s blog.
Here’s a list of all the participants:

Lovely card as always Kylie. I love the added element of the embossed vellum, that adds really great texture.
Thanks so much, Melissa! 🙂
Pretty card Kylie. Great use of the papers.
Thanks very much, Nikki! 🙂
