Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #19: Colour Challenge

by Kylie
Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop

Hi everyone and welcome to Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop day!  Thanks so much for hopping with us this month.  The theme for June’s Blog Hop is a Colour Challenge.  For colour challenges, we are assigned certain colours and we must use them all but we can also use Basic Black, Whisper White and/or Very Vanilla.

Here are the colours

Here’s my card

At first, I was really struggling with the colours.  They are outside, for the most part, my go-to colours.  Then I remembered the fabulous Joseph’s Coat Technique.  I realised these colours would look AMAZING popping up through the black.  I’ve also created a video so you can see the process for yourself.  It’s a fun one and I hope you’ll give it a go.

Here’s the video

Let’s continue on the hop…

You might have come here from Marelle Taylor’s blog.  Next up,  please hop along to Meighan Wheller’s blog.

Here’s a list of all the participants:

Thanks for hopping along with us.  It’s always so fun (and sometimes it really is a challenge!) to participate in these blog hops.  They inspire me and I hope we, in turn, inspire you!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope you have a great day!

Happy Stamping, Kylie

The way you’ve used the colours is amazing. They work so well together in this card. The black background makes the colours pop!

Stunning card Kylie, the perfect symbiosis of these colours and the Joseph’s coat technique.

Oh. My. Goodness! This is absolutely gorgeous — came over from your blog post on the green version of this and didn’t think anything would look better than that but this might just do it! I think its the contrasts of the colors. This is one of my favorite stamp sets — I hope it sticks around a bit longer 😉 TFS

Oh, Mary! That is so kind of you! I had such fun trying all the different combinations – trying something out of the norm! It’s such a gorgeous set, isn’t it?! Thanks again!
