Hi everyone and welcome to the Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop day! Thanks so much for hopping with us. The theme for today’s Blog Hop is a Colour Challenge. We had to use Purple Posy, Seaside Spray, and Rococo Rose on our project. We could also add Whisper White, Basic Black or Very Vanilla as our neutral.
Here’s our Challenge…
When the colours were first announced I was stumped. I had absolutely no idea which way to go. While the colours themselves are all gorgeous, it isn’t a colour combination I would have chosen for myself. I guess this challenge just goes to support why I take part in them – they *challenge* you to think about things in a different way, and step out of your norm.
Here’s my card…
I have to say I am so pleased with how this card turned out. I would never have thought to combine these colours in such a way and yet, look how pretty they look together! Now, I want to try and recreate this card but use black in place of the white stamping. How cool is that?! From stumped to inspired! My big tip for creating card like this is to be aware of which colours are most dominant and likely to take over from the others. For this card, the Rococo Rose is the dominant colour so I only put a little bit down compared with the other two colours.
Let’s continue on the hop…
You might have come here from Sharon Wilson’s blog. Next up, please hop along to Kristy Davy’s blog.

What a gorgeous card Kylie, I love these colours with this background stamp. And the touch of vellum is perfect!
